About the role

We are looking for a Middle Integration QA Engineer who is comfortable working with APIs, backend systems, and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Integration testing: Execute end-to-end test scenarios for API flows and verify interactions between our platform and external third-party services.

• API testing: Test REST/SOAP APIs using Postman or similar tools, including positive and negative scenarios, error handling, rate limiting, and edge cases.

• Data validation: Verify data accuracy, consistency, and transformation across external services and the MuleSoft/Salesforce ecosystem.

• Integration troubleshooting: Investigate issues, analyze API responses and logs where required, and help identify the source of integration problems.

• Defect management: Document, track, and follow up on integration issues together with developers, Salesforce specialists, and other project team members.

• Testing process: Contribute to building and improving regression suites, integration workflows, and the overall QA approach.

• Stakeholder collaboration: Participate in discussions with the project team and UK-based client stakeholders, clarify requirements, and communicate testing results and risks.

Requirements

• 1,5+ years of QA experience, with a focus on Backend, System, or Integration testing.

• Integration experience: Hands-on experience testing third-party integrations, external APIs, webhooks, or similar integration scenarios.

• API testing: Solid experience with Postman, SoapUI, or similar API testing tools.

• Technical understanding: Good knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and common API testing practices.

• Data validation: Good SQL skills for data verification and backend state validation.

• Testing mindset: Understanding of positive and negative testing, error handling, edge cases, and data mapping.

• Communication: Confident spoken English (B2+) for active participation in meetings with UK-based clients and the project team.

• Self-starter: Ability to work independently on assigned testing tasks while collaborating closely with developers and other QA engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with MuleSoft or Salesforce.

• Experience testing webhooks and asynchronous integrations.

• Familiarity with API documentation tools such as OpenAPI / Swagger.

• Experience analyzing application logs.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
