Lead Meta Game Designer

At Strikerz Inc., we’re building UFL, a next-gen football game that brings fair and skill-first competition to players worldwide. We’re looking for a Lead Meta Game Designer to drive the development of engaging, rewarding meta systems that keep players coming back — from progression loops and in-game economy to seasonal challenges and long-term player retention.

Responsibilities:

• Create, implement and own the Metagame & Monetization Roadmaps;

• Manage the UFL metagame economy: design & control the implementation of the game features and evaluate its effectiveness;

• Partner with the Analytics Team to perform data analysis;

• Team up with Design, Development, Production and Product leadership;

• Lead and mentor a team of Game Designers (up to 10 FTE);

• Monitor trends in the game monetization field to inform industry best practices.

Skills and requirements:

• Great leadership skills and a team-player mentality;

• 5 years of experience in Game Development on a Lead Game Designer / Monetization Lead role (PC/Console experience preferred);

• Successful cases of FTP game operation, clear understanding of FTP mechanic trends;

• Team management experience;

• Familiarity with the online gaming industry, including trends and monetization models.

Nice to have:

• Passion for Football;

• Deep knowledge of the sport simulation market.
