IT Project Manager SAP (Freelancer)

I am currently supporting Siemens Energy with the staffing of a IT Project Manager (SAP) (m/f/d) for the Treasury 4.0 @ AGORA program.

Please find the key project parameters and a brief scope summary below:

• Start: As soon as possible, full time

• Duration: Until 30.09.2026 (extension option until April 2027)

• Language: Excellent English is mandatory

Project Scope (Summary)

• The Treasury 4.0 initiative focuses on modernizing and redesigning the global Treasury landscape within Siemens Energy:

• Build an interface between the global SAP S/4HANA ERP system and the new Treasury applications Quantum and TRAXX.

• Decouple four legal entities from the current Treasury environment and migrate them into the Quantum landscape.

• Business GoLive for these pilot entities is planned for February 2027.

• Possible extension to transition additional countries.

• Knowledge of Treasury, SAP S/4, or Siemens processes is helpful but not mandatory.

Key PM Responsibilities

• Joint project responsibility together with the Business PM and Subject Matter Experts.

• Plan and coordinate all project phases, work packages, and stakeholder alignment.

• End-to-end PM tasks: timeline, work plan, risks, issues, budget, testing, cutover.

• Ensure compliance with S/4HANA AGORA guidelines and IT infrastructure requirements.

• Coordinate external partners and consultants.

• Follow the PM@Siemens Energy methodology, including Quality Gates and regular reporting.

• Prepare and facilitate Steering Committee meetings.

• Manage dependencies with related programs (e.g., Material Compliance).

• Support rollouts, end-to-end processes, training activities, and knowledge transfer.

• Ensure adherence to data protection and cybersecurity standards.

• Work effectively within the European time zone.

Requirements

• Senior-level IT Project Manager with extensive SAP S/4 project experience.

• Background in Finance / Treasury projects.

• Multiple full-cycle IT PM projects in global and complex environments.

• Experience working Agile, incl. Jira and user story–based delivery

• Strong communication skills with international and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Excellent English language skills (mandatory).

• ServiceNow experience (change, incident, or project-related use) is required.
