Head of Quality

As the Head of Quality Assurance in Tango, you will be responsible for leading and managing the overall quality assurance function within the organisation and managing the QA staff in your office. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy and roadmap aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives.

• Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to establish quality goals and standards.

Quality Assurance Process:

• Define and enforce quality assurance processes and best practices across the organisation.

• Establish and maintain quality metrics, performance indicators, and reporting mechanisms to monitor and improve quality outcomes.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness.

Test Planning and Execution:

• Oversee the creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Coordinate and prioritize testing activities across multiple projects or product releases.

• Review and analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

Automation and Tools:

• Identify opportunities for test automation and implement suitable frameworks and tools to increase testing efficiency.

• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in QA automation and recommend their adoption as appropriate.

Compliance and Audits:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality standards.

• Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to quality assurance processes and practices.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their quality requirements and expectations.

• Communicate quality-related updates, risks, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders effectively.

• Profound understanding GIT and development tools

• 4+ years of experience in Automation QA

• 2+ years in backend testing including extensive knowledge of API testing

• Experienced with Kotlin/Java or Objective C/Swift or С++ development

• Experienced with Docker and Kubernetes tech

• Profound understanding of the test framework's different layers including the importance and meaning of each one.

• Profound understanding automation infrastructure and tools

• Very good verbal and written English level
