Head of Legal

As Head of Legal, you will lead two legal teams of up to eight people, supporting the company's operations across multiple jurisdictions and balancing a broad range of legal priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Legal Team: Supervise, mentor, and develop the skills team members, ensuring their professional growth and capacity to handle complex legal matters

• Work with the executive team to drive our legal business model set-up in markets we want to operate in

• Stay up-to-date on changes to laws and regulations that may impact the organization's operations

• Manage the organization's contracts, intellectual property, and litigation matters

• Provide legal guidance to the executive team and other employees as needed

• Legal Risk mitigation on daily basis

• Strategic Legal Risk Mitigation & Planning: Develop and implement long-term legal strategies for compliance and legal operations aligned with the company’s goals for expansion

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in legal roles with experience handling a broad range of corporate legal matters

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law

• Solid understanding of business operations and their legal implications

• Strong knowledge of corporate law, taxation, company incorporation, regulatory compliance across different jurisdictions

• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, as well as managing litigation matters

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment when assessing legal risks

• Fluent English, both written and spoken

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and support business stakeholders
