Events Program Manager (Employer Branding)
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR 🌟
Everything starts with a conversation — and the best conversations happen when smart and curious people meet, learn, and share.
At Manychat, we believe employer branding is built through real social connections: strong communities and events that make people think, “I want to work with these humans.”
We’re looking for an Employer Branding Manager (Events & Communities) who can improve and maintain a event portfolio — from presence at flagship conferences to local meet-ups collaboration and hosting — and turn it into a repeatable system that grows awareness, trust, and talent pipelines.
WHAT YOU’LL DO 🚀
Maintain and Improve Manychat's Employer Brand events & communities strategy (global + local) with the Head of Employer Branding.
Own and keep actual a rolling events calendar (quarterly + annual): conferences, meetups, community partnerships.
Continuously scout and evaluate opportunities for: Networking (relationships, partnerships, community credibility), Presenting (talks, panels, workshops), Sponsoring (booths/activations).
Make data-informed recommendations: attend vs. sponsor vs. speak vs. skip — aligned with hiring priorities and audience fit.
Partner with Engineering/Product/People/Marketing to shape our presence at major industry conferences: narrative, messaging, booth concept, activities, staffing model, on-site ops, lead capture, and follow-up flows.
Lead vendor selection and negotiations, manage budgets. Project planning.
Run local meetups in Barcelona, Amsterdam, and other hubs to strengthen relationships and talent pipelines.
Build long-term partnerships with tech and product communities (Python, AI, Product, Data&Analytics, PHP, etc.) that feel authentic and mutually beneficial.
Identify and coach brand ambassadors. Maintain a speakers & topics backlog (talk ideas, owners, readiness, target events).
Drive Call for Papers (CFP) process for Manychat speakers end-to-end: submission planning, deadlines tracking, abstracts support, reviewer coordination, speaker comms, and stage readiness.
Help scale internal knowledge-sharing to grow a speaking culture and make our expertise visible inside and outside the company.
TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE 💥
You’ll need:
Experience leading Employer Brand events with ownership from strategy to execution.
Experience with tech audience events (you understand what engineers/product folks actually care about).
Hands-on ability to build an events portfolio: calendar planning, prioritization, and ROI thinking.
Confidence in project management, including budgets and vendors (negotiation, contracts, cost control, logistics).
Experience supporting speaking programs and running CFP workflows.
Ability to measure impact and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
English proficiency at C1 level or higher
