Engineering Director

As an Engineering Director, you will be responsible for leading EMCDs development organization and driving the evolution of our platform architecture. Your role will involve optimizing development and delivery processes, implementing AI-powered automation, ensuring secure and predictable releases and fostering a culture of delivery excellence across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and optimize software development and delivery processes, including planning, prioritization, reporting and resolving cross-team dependencies.

• Lead the transition to a platform architecture: drive system integrations, ensure SLA compliance and provide support to engineering teams.

• Implement AI-driven tools to automate development workflows, release processes and CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure the quality and predictability of releases: reduce defects, control Time to Market, and conduct post-mortem analysis.

• Establish an end-to-end process for tracking ideas tasks releases metrics, with full transparency for the business.

• Integrate information security practices into the development lifecycle (Security by Design).

• Foster a culture of Delivery Excellence through team training, continuous feedback and structured performance reviews.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of leadership experience in engineering or IT teams.

• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary teams and engineering leads.

• Hands-on experience with platform architecture implementation and large-scale integrations.

• Practical experience applying AI tools to development and CI/CD processes.

• Deep understanding of software development, release management and DevOps practices.

• Experience with information security in software development (Security by Design).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse teams.

• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.
