Digital Marketing Manager (Email & SMM)

GitNation is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager (Email & SMM).

About us: GitNation organizes IT events (in-person and remote) and we are the team behind conferences like React Summit Amsterdam, JSNation, React Day Berlin, and React Advanced London, as well as multiple online conferences that we run since 2015.

The role includes a wide variety of marketing responsibilities to promote and drive ticket sales for our events: Setting up Email marketing campaigns, creating and managing social media posts. Cross-promotion, and collaboration with partners. As we are building up our existing brands, and launching new ones, a part of the responsibilities scope will include brand strategy and execution.

YOUR TASKS WILL BE:

• Create and monitor Email marketing campaigns
• Build effective target audiences and segments for every message
• Create and implement marketing automation campaigns aligns with industry best practices
• Developing a content strategy for the website and social media platforms
• Analyzing performance data to measure content effectiveness
• Drive ticket selling process by reaching out to popular community members and working with various communities and influencers
• Collaborating with the marketing team to generate new content ideas.

YOU ARE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience working within IT industry and event marketing (preferably international)
• Experience in writing promotional texts
• Experience working with Email marketing campaigns
• Strong analytical skills: website traffic and conversion rates.
• Familiarity with the following tools: Photoshop/Sketch, Mailchimp, Buffer, Trello, Google Drive
• Your English is Upper-Intermediate and higher.
