Chief Technology Officer

As our Chief Technology Officer, you will lead the technology vision of a high-performance Forex & CFD brokerage operating in global financial markets for the past 25 years. 

You will be responsible for ensuring: 

  • 24/7 availability of trading systems 

  • Ultra-low latency infrastructure 

  • Regulatory-compliant and secure environments 

  • Scalable architecture to support business growth 

  • Strong engineering culture and operational excellence 

You will report directly to the COO, translating business goals into technology roadmaps that drive performance, resilience, and innovation. 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Define and execute the company’s long-term technology strategy and roadmap 

  • Supervise the organization's modernization initiatives and foster a culture of innovation 

  • Oversee the stability, scalability, and performance of our trading platforms, infrastructure, and core systems 

  • Manage the development and implementation of crypto offerings 

  • Ensure high availability and low-latency execution across all trading environments 

  • Lead cybersecurity strategy, risk mitigation, and regulatory technology compliance 

  • Establish strong disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks 

  • Drive best practices, automation, and system monitoring improvements 

  • Optimize integrations across CRM, back-office, liquidity, and payment systems 

  • Manage technology vendors and control infrastructure costs 

  • Partner closely with Risk, Compliance, Finance, Sales and Marketing teams to support business objectives 

  • Lead, manage, and develop the information technology team which is split into 3 main areas, Project, Development and Infrastructure. 

What we are looking for 

  • BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field 

  • Experience in senior technology roles, including CTO, CIO or Head of IT 

  • Experience within the FX industry and a strong understanding of brokerage operations, trading environments, and regulated financial infrastructure 

  • Demonstrated experience in managing technology departments with at least 30+ employees 

  • Ability to translate business strategy into structured technical execution plans 

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, setting clear KPIs, and building accountability across departments 

  • Strong decision-making ability in high-pressure, real-time trading environments 

  • Solid understanding of cloud or hybrid architectures, system integrations, cybersecurity, and operational resilience 

  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, and infrastructure cost optimization 

  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on technical credibility 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at Board and C-level 

  • Proficient in both spoken and written English
