Business Assistant to CTO

Our CTO is the technical leader of the product. He’s responsible for the platform strategy, AI adoption, engineering culture, and architectural integrity. His focus areas include platform scalability and stability, release speed and quality, engineering guild performance, security, and key technical and financial metrics.

Every day, he operates at the intersection of 5+ teams, fielding dozens of tasks, requests, and escalations. To help him focus on strategy and key decisions, we’re looking for a partner who can bring order to the chaos and drive initiatives through to results.

What You’ll Be Doing

All responsibilities are 100% business-related. No personal tasks or non-work admin.

• Protect the CTO’s focus and filter incoming requests — understand priorities, offer solutions, reframe or delegate tasks before they reach the CTO.

• Streamline cross-team communication — serve as a link between engineering guilds, the architect, product, and ops roles. Structure agreements and drive tasks to completion.

• Facilitate meetings and maintain team rhythm — set agendas, bring the right people into the room, keep discussions focused. Use AI tools to document outcomes and make sure follow-ups don’t fall through the cracks.

• Prepare the CTO for key meetings — pull together briefs, flag controversial topics, and summarize discussions so he doesn’t waste time regathering context.

• Lead projects within the CTO’s scope — structure tasks in a tracker, monitor blockers, and keep progress transparent.

• Stay on top of key metrics — track what matters to the CTO at any given time (retention, SLA, AI costs, tech ROI, etc.). Collect updates, follow up with teams, and flag when something’s stuck.

This role is for you if

• You already have relevant experience. You’ve worked as an Executive Assistant, Project Manager, or Business Assistant supporting C-level leaders in tech, product, content, or marketing — especially in environments where metrics, product analytics, AI, or user experience matter.

• You know how to work independently. You own your area of responsibility, make decisions without waiting for approval, and prioritize effectively. You can tell what’s important vs. what’s urgent — and move projects forward without micromanagement.

• You’re tech-savvy and confident. You’re familiar with task trackers (like Asana or Notion), Google Workspace — especially Sheets/Excel — and Slack-style messengers. You learn new tools fast and use AI to automate, plan, and summarize.

• You’re a strong communicator. You write clearly, speak concisely, and know when to push and when to soften. You can keep multiple threads of tasks, teams, and agreements in your head — and in order.

• You have high emotional intelligence. You listen, adapt, support — otherwise, this role will be tough.

• You’re a native Russian speaker. The application includes a test section in Russian.
