Web QA Engineer

We are looking for a Middle Web QA Engineer to join our development team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our web products throughout the development lifecycle — from requirements analysis and test planning to defect verification and release support. We are looking for someone who can work independently, identify potential issues proactively, and effectively collaborate with developers, analysts, and product managers.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Web Quality Assurance

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies

• Experience with browser-based testing and web debugging tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools)

• Ability to analyze requirements and identify ambiguities or potential risks

• Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem solving

What You’ll Do

• Test web applications and new product features.

• Analyze requirements and prepare test documentation.

• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and test scenarios.

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.

• Test REST APIs and verify API responses.

• Validate data using SQL queries.

• Identify, reproduce, and document software defects.

• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and product managers.

• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.

• Participate in release planning and risk assessment.

• Maintain up-to-date test documentation.

• Contribute to improving QA processes and overall product quality.

Nice to have

• Understanding of client-server architecture and HTTP/HTTPS protocols

• Experience testing REST APIs

• Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and how QA fits into modern deployment workflow
