What you'll do

• Develop engaging web games from scratch using modern, cutting-edge technologies.

• Design and build game levels, mechanics, and interactive experiences.

• Animate and integrate creative assets, including artwork and visual effects.

• Collaborate closely with designers and other team members to bring creative concepts to life.

• Optimise games to deliver smooth, reliable performance across all supported devices.

• Integrate native plugins and third-party services, including APIs, analytics, and crash-reporting tools.

• Continuously improve game quality, performance, and the overall player experience.

• Contribute to technical decisions and help shape our approach to web game development at Yope.

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in HTML5 and JavaScript development.

• Practical experience with Node.js and game development frameworks such as PixiJS, Phaser, or Three.js.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.

• Experience building interactive, animation-rich products or games.Good understanding of browser performance, optimisation techniques, and cross-device compatibility.

• Ability to take ownership of a project and independently move it from concept to production.

• Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in creating polished, enjoyable player experiences.

• English proficiency sufficient for confident communication within an international team
