UX/UI Product Designer
Join a fast-growing cybersecurity company specializing in world-class privacy and security solutions. We operate as a fully remote global team on a mission to protect digital lives and ensure anonymity for millions of users worldwide. We are vocal advocates for digital freedom and an uncensored online culture.
We are looking for a product-focused UX/UI Designer at the middle–senior level: a strong, independent contributor who leads their work without a management focus. This is a hands-on role. You will work closely with the Design Lead and collaborate across product, marketing, and engineering teams.
About the Team
You will be joining a lean design team that serves multiple products and operates as a service function for the business with a real strong influence on the products. The team moves fast, covers a wide surface area, and holds a high-quality bar across everything it touches. You need to be someone who can context-switch between products quickly, pick up new domains with minimal ramp-up, and deliver consistent, polished work under real deadlines.
What you will do
- Design across platforms: web, mobile (iOS and Android), desktop (macOS and Windows), browser extensions.
- Develop end-to-end UX flows, including edge cases, error states, and interaction logic.
- Maintain and evolve the design system - components, tokens, and reusable patterns.
- Conduct UX research and competitive analysis to ground design decisions in evidence.
- Present, justify, and defend design solutions in design reviews and cross-functional discussions.
- Support marketing needs: banners, promotional materials, and advertising creatives.
- Hand off designs to engineering via Figma Dev Mode and support implementation to ensure fidelity.
What we are looking for
- 4+ years of experience in product design.
- A strong portfolio with product case studies covering mobile and web applications.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, prototyping, and Dev Mode.
- Solid understanding of UX principles: user research, information architecture, usability testing, and interaction design.
- Familiarity with platform design guidelines: Apple HIG, Material Design, and Windows/Fluent.
- Understanding of responsive and adaptive design.
- Experience working with analytics: knowing what to measure, how to interpret data, and how to use it to inform design decisions.
- Understanding of Agile workflows and experience collaborating closely with engineering teams.
- AI-friendly mindset: openness to integrating AI tools into your design process; prior experience is a plus.
- English at B2 or higher (for design reviews, documentation, and async communication with the global team), Russian is a plus.
- Clear, open communicator who can align with developers, marketers, and stakeholders.
- Self-directed and proactive - you manage your own work and push things forward without being prompted.
Nice to Have
- Background in fintech, utility apps, VPN, or privacy/security products.
- Startup experience.
- Experience in distributed remote teams with strong async communication habits.
- Localization and internationalization experience for multilingual, global-audience products.
What we offer
- Build personal AI agents using our premium infrastructure.
- Absolute freedom to work from any location (GMT+1– GMT+5).
- Internal R&D opportunities.
- Paid time off and sick leave.
- Direct impact on a massive, world-class B2C product.
- A collaborative environment with some of the best minds.
- Hardware upon completion of your probation.
If this sounds like you, we’ve been waiting for you! Let’s build the future of digital freedom together. Apply now.
