Unity Developer (PC, Adult Games)

We are currently looking for a Middle Unity Developer who will be responsible for developing games and interactive projects using the Unity engine.
In our projects, development is not only about implementing features - it is about building stable, scalable, and maintainable systems that support the visual style, gameplay flow, and emotional experience of the player.

You will work closely with game designers, artists, and other team members to create commercial game projects for the Steam audience.

Genre: Adult Visual Novel

Responsibilities

  • Build a solid, scalable, and maintainable project architecture;

  • Implement gameplay mechanics according to the technical specification;

  • Work with UI using Unity UI / Canvas, UI states, simple animations, and tweeners;

  • Integrate third-party assets into the project;

  • Integrate 2D/3D art content, including characters, backgrounds, animations, and video clips;

  • Maintain, refactor, and improve existing code;

  • Identify, investigate, and fix bugs;

  • Work with Animator, including states, transitions, and parameters;

  • Handle the full development cycle from concept to release;

  • Collaborate with game designers, artists, and other team members to ensure features are implemented correctly and fit naturally into the project.

Requirements

  • Has at least 2+ years of commercial experience (PC) with Unity;

  • Has advanced C# skills and strong OOP knowledge;

  • Has experience developing and optimizing gameplay and game mechanics, not UI-only features;

  • Is able to design, build, and maintain scalable project architecture;

  • Has experience working with ScriptableObjects;

  • Confidently works with Animator, including states, transitions, and parameters;

  • Understands advanced UI practices in Unity UI / Canvas, including states, animations, and interface behavior;

  • Has experience with Dependency Injection at least at the usage level;

  • Has experience working with Addressables;

  • Has experience integrating 2D/3D art content, including characters, backgrounds, animations, and video clips;

  • Can extend the Unity Editor through custom inspectors, tools, or editor workflows;

  • Has a portfolio, demo, video, or shipped releases to demonstrate previous work;

  • Pays attention to code quality, maintainability, and project structure;

  • Can work in a team, follow technical requirements, and receive feedback calmly.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with asynchronous programming, especially UniTask;

  • Experience with reactive programming;

  • Experience with NavMesh / Unity AI;

  • Experience working with particles and VFX;

  • Understanding of post-processing and lighting setup;

  • Interest in visual novels and story-driven games;

  • Understanding of how technical implementation supports atmosphere, pacing, and player experience.
