Trading Compliance & Technical Specialist

Limassol, Cyprus.

As a Trading Compliance & Technical Specialist, you will provide specialized technical and regulatory support to the Compliance department across the Group’s regulated entities, focusing on CFDs, Forex, Shares, and online trading activities.

The role requires strong practical knowledge of trading platforms, execution mechanisms, trading conditions, fees, commissions, bonus structures, and trading- related terms and conditions.

The successful candidate will act as a key technical point of reference for the Compliance team, supporting regulatory assessments, investigating trading discrepancies, coordinating the resolution of technical trading-related complaints, and identifying potential operational and regulatory risks.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide technical guidance on trading platforms, including MT4/MT5, platform configurations, plugins, bridges, execution settings, and trading functionalities.

• Review and assess trading conditions, including spreads, swaps, commissions, leverage, margin requirements, fees, bonus structures, and profit and loss calculations.

• Assess the consistency of actual trading practices and platform settings with client agreements, trading terms and conditions, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate the technical investigation and resolution of trading-related complaints, including execution issues, pricing discrepancies, P&L disputes, stop-outs, and platform-related incidents.

• Lead the analysis of trading histories, execution records, platform logs, and other technical evidence, preparing clear findings and recommendations.

• Support compliance monitoring, regulatory assessments, and investigations relating to trading operations, best execution, costs and charges, and client protection.

• Liaise with Dealing, Trading Operations, IT, and other relevant departments to investigate issues, obtain technical information, and facilitate timely resolution.

• Identify technical discrepancies, recurring issues, and potential regulatory risks, recommending appropriate corrective actions and process improvements.

• Provide technical input on new trading products, platform functionalities, plugins, and changes to trading conditions.

• Develop practical guidance materials and deliver training to strengthen the Compliance team’s understanding of trading systems, terminology, and operational practices.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience within CFDs, Forex, Dealing, Trading

• Operations, or a closely related function.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of MT4/MT5, including platform configurations, execution mechanisms, plugins, and trading data.

• Solid understanding of trading conditions, pricing, liquidity, fees, commissions, bonus structures, margin, swaps, and P&L calculations.

• Experience investigating trading discrepancies, technical issues, and trading- related client complaints.

• Good understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to CFDs, Forex, and investment services.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership of matters, and provide practical, evidence-based recommendations.

• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Excel and fluency in English; Greek is an advantage.

Working Schedule: On-Site, Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00
