Lead Python Developer

Our tech stack: Python 3, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, GitLab, Linux, Bash, Go, REST API, Grafana, Prometheus, Kubernetes, Redis.

Key responsibilities:

- Design and develop high-performance microservices in Python

- Drive product evolution and deliver new features

- Own the full product lifecycle — from ideation and requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance

- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy

- Champion engineering best practices and mentor team members by sharing your expertise

What we expect from you:

- 6+ years of professional Python development experience, with at least 1 year in a Lead capacity

- Proven track record with high‑load systems and complex business logic

- Hands‑on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Aiohttp

- Strong background in REST API design and development

- Solid experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, including a good command of SQL

- Proficiency with Git

- Fluency in Russian (spoken and written)

Nice to have:

- Linux proficiency, particularly with Ubuntu or Debian

- Ability to write simple automation scripts in Bash

- Familiarity with Go

- English language skills

- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
