We are building capability for Tangem customers to trade US equities inside the mobile app (iOS/Android), with an external vendor as our partner.
You own the technical analysis: you learn the vendor’s platform in depth and turn it into frontend and backend specifications our developers build from.
Analyse vendor’s APIs and those of their technology partners in depth: order lifecycle and states, account and position models, funding rails, market data feeds, corporate actions handling, webhooks, error codes, throttling, and sandbox behaviour. Establish what the platform actually does rather than what the documentation implies.
Write the frontend and backend specifications the development team works from — screen flows, states and edge cases, data models, API contracts, integration sequences, error and reconciliation handling.
Specify the trade signals pipeline: data source, indicator computation, subscription and delivery model, and push infrastructure.
Specify the regulatory support surface, including trade and order blotters, audit trail, communications archive for signal content and its approval workflow, complaint logging, and exception reports.
Own the technical dialogue with the vendor: raise gaps, get answers documented, and record what has been confirmed versus assumed.
Define the test and sandbox strategy, and the acceptance criteria development will be measured against.
Support the development team through build and testing, resolving specification questions and keeping documents current as decisions change.
4+ years as a system or technical analyst, developer, solution architect, or in a comparable role, with experience working on mobile applications (iOS/Android) and producing specifications others built from.
Experience with trading or brokerage systems - including order management, market data, execution, settlement, or reconciliation. This is a core requirement for the role.
Technical foundation - software development, engineering, or mathematics. You read API documentation fluently, reason about system architecture, and talk to developers as a peer.
Demonstrable experience integrating a substantial third-party API into a production system, ideally one where correctness and state consistency mattered more than speed of delivery.
Written specifications we can see. This is the core skill and we will ask for examples. Precise, structured, complete on edge cases and failure paths.
Comfortable working from incomplete information: chasing a partner for an answer, documenting the assumption in the meantime, and revisiting it when the answer arrives.
Fluent professional English, including in writing.
