Software Engineer - Python Senior [Risk]

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Risks Scoring team.

 

The Risks Scoring team is responsible for building automated IT solutions that power risk management processes. We integrate data from multiple sources, develop and deploy scoring models into production, and enable real-time automated decision-making with strict SLA requirements. Our scoring solutions are embedded across every Plata product, ensuring that business growth is driven by precision, scalability, and data-backed intelligence.

 

As a Software Engineer , you will design, build, and optimize scalable backend systems that power our risk scoring platform. You’ll work with high-volume data pipelines, production-grade decisioning services, and machine learning integrations, collaborating closely with data scientists, risk analysts, and product teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that directly support Plata’s growth and risk management capabilities

Challenges that await you:

• Launching risk strategies for making real-time decisions on clients in production Evolving and adapting the architecture to align with current contexts and strategic business functionality plans
• Ensuring high implementation quality through comprehensive test coverage
• Designing and utilizing tools to validate changes, ensuring they meet business requirements and goals

What makes you a great fit:

• 4+ years experience in Python Involvement in developing a service/subsystem from scratch and bringing it to production with a successful business increment 
• Strong knowledge of Python and its ecosystem
• Understanding of software lifecycle, application of MVP methodology
• Experience with architectural patterns and design principles
• Willingness to take responsibility for service architecture decisions
• B1 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team
