SMM Specialist

Algonova is an international school that teaches programming and mathematics to children.

We are growing in Southeast Asia and are looking for an SMM Manager. This role is responsible for developing and managing Algonova’s social media presence. The focus is on local markets, while maintaining a global brand mindset.

🚀 Your Goals:

• Grow Algonova’s social media presence in Southeast Asia

• Attract new clients through locally relevant content

• Adapt global brand messages to local cultures

• Increase reach, engagement, and qualified leads

• Build trust with local communities and parents

👾 Your Job:

• Manage and grow Instagram and Facebook accounts

• Plan and create content (posts, Stories, Reels)

• Prepare monthly content plans in advance

• Adapt global content ideas to local cultural context

• Write content in English (with possible adaptation to other languages)

• Follow SMM, EdTech, and local market trends

• Apply cultural insights to content and communication style

• Track key metrics and prepare simple performance reports

💜 Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as an SMM Manager

• Portfolio with links to social media accounts or posts

• Understanding of social media algorithms and engagement

• Good written English

• Cultural awareness and sensitivity to local markets

• Creative, organized, and able to work independently

🍀 Would be an advantage:

• Experience working with Southeast Asian markets

• Experience generating leads or sales through social media

• Experience in education or EdTech projects
