Senior System Analyst (Platform)
We're looking for a Senior System Analyst to join our Platform team. You'll own 2–3 domains across core banking, payments, and transfers, taking them end-to-end: from solution design and partner integrations to production support.
If you enjoy deep technical challenges in the financial domain and want real ownership over what you build – this is the role for you.
Your Mission
Lead analysis for complex, integration-heavy initiatives across core banking and payments domains – involving multiple internal services, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Design technical solutions together with the development team – APIs, data models, integration flows, and business processes – considering scalability and reliability.
Develop and maintain clear technical specifications, system documentation, and integration contracts for development teams.
Collaborate with Product, Finance, Compliance, and external partners to translate business and regulatory requirements into actionable technical plans.
Investigate and resolve production issues: trace transactions, analyze data, coordinate with support and operations teams to find root causes and fix them.
Participate in the full product lifecycle – from discovery and solution design through delivery, testing, and post-launch support.
Continuously identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve system interactions, and reduce manual work for operations and finance teams.
Your Profile
4+ years of experience as a System Analyst or in a similar role (technical project manager, solution analyst).
Financial services background – banking, payment processing, or fintech; experience with core banking systems, payments, or card processing is a strong advantage.
Confident SQL skills – enough to independently pull data, investigate incidents, and validate system behavior.
Practical experience leveraging AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate development, automate workflows; confident in reading, generating, and refining production-ready code with AI collaboration.
Solid understanding of system architecture patterns: microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, relational databases, asynchronous flows (Kafka or similar).
Ability to read and understand database schemas, API contracts, JSON/proto files, and technical documentation.
Strong architectural visualization and documentation skills (UML and Mermaid); experience designing sequence, flow, and relationship diagrams to articulate system behavior and integration logic.
Experience leading integrations with external partners or complex cross-system projects.
Strong sense of ownership – you proactively drive initiatives forward, dig into problems independently, and take responsibility for outcomes.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with safeguarding, reconciliation, and treasury operations.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or Snowflake.
