Senior System Administrator

We’re currently looking for a Senior System Administrator to join our team in Cyprus.
 

What you’ll be doing:

• Administration of G-Suite, Jira/Confluence, Zoom (including Zoom Rooms and conference/audio system management), and Slack

• Ensuring stable operation of LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet access

• Administration of local Linux servers (standard services, containers, virtual machines)

• Configuring routing, L2/L3 tunnels, firewalls (Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, Linux)

• Monitoring the health of hardware and services

• Communicating with ISPs, contractors, software and hardware vendors

• Supporting workstations running macOS and Windows (primarily for the accounting department)

• Providing user support

• Configuring access control systems and video surveillance

• Procuring hardware

• Managing inventory and asset tracking
   

What makes you a great fit:

• Solid experience working with Unix-like systems (Linux, macOS)

• Knowledge of the TCP/IP stack and understanding of network principles

• Experience setting up office networks, Wi-Fi, and routers (preferably Mikrotik, Ubiquiti)

• Hands-on experience administering G-Suite, Jira/Confluence, Zoom, and Slack

• Familiarity with video conferencing systems and conference room hardware

• Experience managing IT hardware inventory

• Knowledge of peripheral equipment (printers, MFPs)
   

Desired technical skills:

• Experience with virtualization and containerization platforms

• Experience configuring L2/L3 tunnels, VPNs, and firewalls (Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, Linux)

• Familiarity with access control and CCTV systems

• Experience working with contractors, vendors, and service providers

• Task automation skills (scripts, Ansible, etc.)

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in Bash, Go, or Python (any one of them)

• Basic understanding of CI/CD and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)

• Experience working with relational and analytical databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, ClickHouse)
