For our client in Berlin, we are looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer (m/f/d) with strong backend expertise in Python (Django/Flask) and solid frontend experience with React (3–5+ years overall experience).

🚀 Project Overview

You will contribute to the development and further enhancement of the RIWIS real estate analysis platform.

Together with the existing team, you will evolve the platform technically and functionally, preparing it for the next innovation steps — with a strong focus on:

• Performance

• User-friendliness

• Integration of complex analysis functions

✅ Must-Have Skills

Frontend

• Very good knowledge of React (Angular or Vue.js also acceptable)

• Experience building modern, scalable web applications

Backend

• Strong experience with Python (Django or Flask)

• Alternatively: Node.js or .NET experience

Data & APIs

• Confident handling of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

• Strong experience with RESTful APIs

Testing & Deployment

• Experience with unit & integration testing

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Architecture

• Ability to design modular and scalable web applications

Data Visualization

• Experience with tools like Highcharts, D3.js, Chart.js, Mapbox, or similar

• Experience collaborating with data scientists or analysts

• UI/UX understanding

• Agile development experience

• GIS/geodata or mapping tools (e.g., Leaflet)

• Cloud experience (Azure, AWS)

• Experience implementing AI-driven features
