Senior QA Engineer-Backend (API Testing)

🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On:

Ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of backend services and REST APIs powering our platform.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated API test frameworks.
Build and execute automated integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end API tests.
Validate RESTful APIs, request/response contracts, authentication flows, and business logic using tools such as Swagger and Postman.
Collaborate closely with backend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to understand system architecture, service dependencies, and data flows.
Perform backend validation using databases, logs, and monitoring tools to investigate and debug issues across distributed systems.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure fast and reliable delivery.
Configure and maintain Allure Report / Allure TestOps integrations for test reporting, analytics, and test management.
Improve test coverage, framework maintainability, reporting, and execution performance.
Participate in code reviews, quality initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and engineering standards.
Advocate for automation best practices, API reliability, and high-quality software delivery.

Experience working with DS&AI teams, high-level knowledge on AI and ML projects
Experience with Python apps

🧙‍♂️ The Magic You Bring

4–6 years of QA Automation experience with strong focus on API and backend testing.
Hands-on experience in API automation.
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and experience building scalable test automation frameworks.
Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and complex backend workflows.
Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and hands-on experience with GitHub Actions.
Experience working with Allure Reports and Allure TestOps for test reporting and test management.
Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and JMeter.
Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis, or message brokers for backend validation.
Strong debugging and analytical skills with ability to investigate issues using logs and monitoring systems.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Passion for automation, clean code, system reliability, and continuous improvement.
