Senior QA Engineer

Who we're looking for

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our Communication team. The team builds TaxDome’s сommunication channel hub for chats, email, SMS, and team messaging, creating secure and seamless experiences for firms and their clients.

Your role will focus on manual and automated testing, ensuring stable, high-quality releases.

This is an opportunity to work closely with developers and stakeholders in a collaborative environment where your impact on product quality and business success is direct and visible.

Project stack: Ruby on Rails (6+), PostgreSQL, React, Typescript on the frontend, Docker, AWS infrastructure, implementing k8s; configured CI / CD on Jenkins, use BitBucket.

Autotest stack: rails/rspec/capybara/site_prism

Our expectations

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing

• Knowledge of testing methodologies and practical application experience

• Experience in testing documentation and requirements

• Understanding and ability to apply non-functional testing principles (security and performance)

• System analysis skills and test set preparation

• Ability to determine the scope of testing for new product areas and develop testing strategies

• Ability to review test checklists and documentation

• Experience in test automation and strong motivation to grow in this field

• Good understanding of software development processes and willingness to participate in their improvement

• Ability to communicate clearly, take ownership, and deliver measurable results

• Willingness to learn and adopt new methods and technologies

Responsibilities

• Creating checklists for manual testing

• Formulating bug reports

• Working with Jira and QASE

• Testing documentation and requirements

• Improving testing processes

• Participation in feature meetings

• Participation in interviews

• Analyzing reasons for bug occurrences and suggesting prevention methods

• Writing and updating tool usage instructions, documenting processes

• Participating in the onboarding process for new QAs
