Senior Python Developer

TradingView is the world’s largest financial analysis platform with more than 100M users across 180+ countries. We build tools that help traders and investors make informed decisions — from advanced charting and market data to collaboration and publishing features. About the team

Our team (Web Architecture) is in charge of the infrastructure behind one of the most important parts of the company—our website, the place where users interact with our platform. The site runs on Django, so we’re primarily looking for a Python developer who’s confident with the language. But don’t worry, it’s not just Python—you’ll get to tackle a wide range of challenges along the way.

Responsibilities

• Breaking up the monolith & designing scalable microservices

• Developing & integrating new features in a high-load environment

• Building services that scale & stay secure

• Exploring different tech areas

What makes you the perfect fit

• 5+ years of software development experience

• Strong Python skills (2+ years of hands-on work)

• Good grasp of algorithms & data structures

• Experience with Django & DRF

• Ability to design solutions & choose the right tools

• Broad knowledge of modern backend web technologies

• Basic understanding of databases, messaging systems & data streaming

• Experience with containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes)

What would be awesome (but not required)

• Experience in finance or trading domain

• Familiarity with TradingView as a product

• Experience building high-load, fault-tolerant services

• Knowledge of Unix systems, OS internals & networking

• Familiarity with frontend tech (JS, TS, React)

• Some experience with Go

• Experience monitoring high-load production systems
