Senior Project Manager

Room 8 Studio is Room 8 Group's Art team, delivering world-leading art solutions for game developers and publishers. Our capabilities span concept art, characters and environments, UI and UX, 2D and 3D, and everything in between. Room 8 Studio is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of game development projects. In this role, you’ll oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet business objectives. You’ll drive effective communication, proactively manage risks, and keep teams aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

Superpowers you have are

• 4+ years of experience managing complex projects independently;

• 1+ year of experience in the game development industry;

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders;

• Strong project planning, budgeting, risk management, and delivery management skills;

• Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders;

• Hands-on experience with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Trello, or similar) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines;

• Proactive problem solver with strong decision-making and risk mitigation skills;

• Client-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and successful project delivery;

• Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher level of English.

As a part of Room 8 studio, you will

• Plan and coordinate projects from kickoff to delivery, defining scope, timelines, milestones, and success criteria;

• Lead cross-functional teams, prioritize workloads, and ensure smooth collaboration between internal and external contributors;

• Track project progress, budget, quality, and delivery KPIs to ensure successful execution;

• Manage project documentation, including Statements of Work, contracts, and Jira administration;

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations;

• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand ongoing collaborations;

• Identify project risks, drive mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues;

• Monitor and optimize project processes, implementing best practices to improve efficiency and delivery;

• Prepare project reports and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
