Senior Product Designer

LATAMRemoteSenior

We’re looking for strong design craft, sharp product thinking, and the ability to work closely with Product Management and Engineering through ambiguity. We work in small cross-functional teams, where designers play a central role in shaping solutions before they move into build and stay closely involved as the work comes to life. You’ll be a key part of turning meaningful product opportunities into clear, well-crafted experiences for players, organizers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the shaping phase for meaningful product opportunities across player, organizer, and internal team experiences

  • Turn clearly framed opportunities into thoughtful, well-crafted solutions that are valuable, usable, viable, and feasible

  • Conduct user research and translate insights into design decisions

  • Work closely with product managers and tech leads to explore ideas, pressure test tradeoffs, and reduce risk before work moves into build

  • Create flows, prototypes, and polished designs that bring clarity to both the user experience and the scope of work

  • Think through edge cases, operational realities, and end-to-end journeys, not just primary happy paths

  • Help define execution-ready scope by contributing clear design artifacts, detailed thinking, and well-written ticketsStay actively involved during build to answer questions, refine decisions, and protect product quality as details emerge

  • Contribute to product quality more broadly by improving workflows, interaction patterns, and overall coherence across the experience

  • Use AI tools and modern workflows to move faster, explore more possibilities, and improve the quality of your work

  • Help raise the bar for design thinking, craft, and collaboration across the team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience, with a track record of shipping high-quality digital products

  • Strong product and interaction design skills

  • High proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping and design tools

  • Experience using AI tools in a practical way to improve how you think, work, and create

  • Ability to take ambiguous problems and turn them into clear, focused solutions

  • Strong judgment across user needs, business goals, and technical constraints

  • Comfort working closely with engineers and product managers in a collaborative environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, especially in async settings

  • A high level of curiosity, ownership, and personal accountability

  • A growth mindset and a genuine willingness to keep learning

  • Interest in innovation, experimentation, and improving the way product teams work

Benefits

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Eligible after 60 days of continuous service.

  • Paid Parental Leave: Up to 6 to 9 weeks, depending on role and eligibility. Eligibility begins after 12 months of continuous full-time service.

    • Birthing parents: Up to 9 weeks of paid leave.

    • Non-birthing parents: Up to 6 weeks of paid leave.

  • Observed Holidays: Plei observes major U.S. federal holidays. For international team members, a local national holiday may be substituted in place of U.S. Independence Day.

  • Remote Flexibility: We are a hybrid company, but this role is fully remote. You’ll have the flexibility to work from your location while staying connected across our global team.

  • Free Plei Games: All employees get free access to Plei-organized pickup games in any of our regions.

  • Team Connectivity: Even though we’re distributed, we make teamwork a priority through regular all-hands, collaboration across teams, and a connected working culture.
