NLP / LLM Engineer

Social Discovery Group is looking for a Senior NLP / LLM Engineer for a conversational AI product team building and improving AI-powered communication experiences🔥

🌍 Fully Remote, B2B Contract

❗️ This is not a typical RAG/agent role. We're looking for someone with hands-on experience in training, fine-tuning, and adapting LLMs for real-world production use cases.

What you'll be working on:

• Fine-tuning and adapting open-source LLMs

• Improving conversational AI quality and user experience

• Building datasets and evaluation pipelines

• Experimenting with different LLM architectures and approaches

• Model evaluation, testing, and quality improvement

• Inference optimization and production deployment

• Working closely with ML, Product, and Engineering teams

Requirements:

• Strong NLP background

• Practical experience with LLM fine-tuning and adaptation

• Python, PyTorch, Transformers, Hugging Face

• Experience with LoRA, QLoRA, SFT, Instruction Tuning

• Production experience with AI/ML systems

Nice to have:

• RLHF / DPO

• Conversational AI experience

• vLLM / SGLang

• Inference optimization and model serving
