London, England, United Kingdom
This role sits at the heart of that growth. As our new Senior Marketing Manager, you'll own the owned and earned channels that win customers directly, from the website and PR to partnerships, social, and brand across all six markets. It's a rare chance to build a direct acquisition engine from scratch inside a small, ambitious team, competing head-to-head with some of the best-funded neobanks in Europe.
Own and optimise our direct-to-consumer channels — website, PR and comms, partnerships, social, events, and brand and out-of-home, across six markets through and beyond the brand campaign window
Build the website into a high-converting acquisition surface, owning messaging, offers, content, localisation, and advertising across all markets
Lead PR, comms, and partnerships that build the consumer brand
Stand up the retail and merchant-sales-channel motion for the consumer product
Hold and improve the direct cost-per-customer target, and report on direct-acquisition performance to feed channel-mix decisions
Work closely with the central brand team, external creative and PR agencies, and peer marketing managers to keep channel boundaries clean and handoffs tight
Strong B2C consumer-acquisition or brand-marketing experience, ideally in fintech, a neobank, retail, or a direct-to-consumer business
Hands-on across owned and earned channels: website and conversion, PR and comms, partnerships, social, and events
Comfortable owning acquisition metrics, attribution, and cost-per-customer across a channel set
Experience planning and executing multi-market campaigns with localisation across multiple languages
Ability to operate independently, influence across matrixed teams and agencies, and build from scratch in an early-stage environment
🌎 Opportunity to work with a truly global, multicultural team from our central London Bridge location, wrapped in historic charm and modern flair. This involves an office-first setup
🌈 Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: be part of a workplace that values and promotes diversity, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone's perspectives are respected and embraced
🚀 Enrolment onto our Virtual Stock Option programme: you will own a stake in SumUp's future success
🏖 Generous time off: enjoy 28 days of paid leave, plus bank holidays and special leaves
📚 A dedicated annual L&D budget for attending conferences and/or advancing your career through further education
