Senior Full-stack QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will join the Car Market team to ensure the quality of our mobile, web, and backend products and help us build a reliable experience for buying and selling cars in Qatar. The QIC Car Market team builds a platform for buying and selling cars, boosting trust and accessibility. Our mission is to develop strategies for listings, search, dealer management, pricing, and transactions. By providing a reliable experience, we strengthen the market and support QIC businesses.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing across native mobile applications (iOS and Android), web, and backend services

• Take primary ownership of mobile application testing while supporting web and backend testing when needed

• Test third-party integrations and SDKs and validate data integrity and integration stability

• Develop and maintain automated tests, primarily for backend/API and web functionality

• Analyze requirements and technical specifications to identify potential issues and risks at early stages

• Investigate issues using logs, monitoring systems, and traffic inspection tools

• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, and cURL

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers throughout the development and release process

• Support bug investigation, root cause analysis, and quality improvements across the product

Requirements

• At least 5 years of work experience in Software QA

• Strong hands-on experience testing native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android)

• Hands-on test automation experience (Java) with automated tests written personally as part of recent projects

• Strong experience with REST API testing using Postman, Swagger, cURL

• Experience with traffic inspection and debugging tools such as Charles, Proxyman, or Fiddler

• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics, Kibana, or similar

• Understanding of microservices architecture and modern QA practices

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum product teams

• Experience with Kafka, gRPC/Protobuf, Go-based services

• English level B1 or higher
