Senior DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes and modern web infrastructure to design, build, and operate scalable, production-grade platforms.
You will play a key role in shaping our Kubernetes environments, improving delivery pipelines, and ensuring reliability of high-load web services. This role requires deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes, strong system thinking, and close collaboration with Development, QA, Operations, and SRE teams.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters (RKE2 or similar)
Own the full lifecycle of applications in Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, upgrades, troubleshooting)
Design and maintain highly available web infrastructure (ingress, load balancing, TLS, DNS)
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads
Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using ArgoCD
Package and manage applications using Helm charts
Work with self-hosted Git platforms (e.g., Gitea) and repository management
Manage container networking, ingress controllers, and traffic routing
Work with Kubernetes ecosystem tools (Helm, operators, CRDs)
Drive Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform and Ansible
Ensure cluster reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
Implement observability (metrics, logs, tracing) for distributed systems
Integrate security best practices into Kubernetes and CI/CD workflows
Manage artifact lifecycle and ensure supply chain security
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
Collaborate with Dev, QA, Ops, and SRE teams to improve platform usability
Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer (or similar role)
Strong, hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments
Cluster architecture and operations
Networking (CNI), ingress controllers, service discovery
Stateful workloads, persistent storage
Upgrades, scaling, and troubleshooting
Solid experience with containerization (Docker)
Strong knowledge of web infrastructure fundamentals
HTTP/HTTPS, reverse proxies (NGINX/Envoy), TLS
Load balancing, DNS, caching layers
Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)
Hands-on experience with Helm (chart development and templating)
Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD preferred)
Experience working with Git repositories (Gitea, GitLab, or similar)
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and/or virtualization (vSphere)
Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash)
Experience with observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
Understanding of security in Kubernetes environments
Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high availability setups
Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day engineering work
Nice to Have
Experience with Rancher / Rancher Charts
Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
Understanding of Kubernetes operators and CRDs
Experience with FinOps and cost optimization in Kubernetes
Knowledge of SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets)
Experience with mobile CI/CD (Fastlane)
Strong system design and architectural thinking
Ability to drive improvements and influence technical direction
