Senior DevOps engineer

RemoteSenior

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. You'll be responsible for the infrastructure that the entire product runs on (and we mean that literally). Our stack spans Kubernetes clusters across cloud and bare-metal, our own network infrastructure, and a growing set of services that need to be fast, observable, and resilient. You’ll work closely with a team of engineers led by product managers and collaborate with the chief technical officer and quality assurance and support departments.

This is a fully remote collaboration under a service agreement. We work primarily within the GMT+1 time zone and expect a regular overlap of business hours on weekdays to allow for meetings and live collaboration.

What you’ll do

  • Own and evolve our Kubernetes infrastructure across cloud and bare-metal environments;

  • Maintain and improve core network infrastructure, including advanced routing and traffic management;

  • Manage and support shared services: Caddy, TLS, Redis, MongoDB, and others;

  • Own infrastructure metrics, SLAs, and incident response;

  • Design and maintain geo-balancing and traffic routing strategies;

  • Work on observability infrastructure and ensure we have clear visibility into system health;

  • Implement and enforce security policies and best practices across the stack;

  • Support both the development teams and internal tooling.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in a product-focused infrastructure or DevOps role;

  • Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes / Helm / Terraform / AWS / Cloudflare in production, including bare-metal deployments;

  • Strong Linux and networking fundamentals—you should be comfortable at both the OS and network layer;

  • Practical experience with advanced network routing, and traffic engineering;

  • Experience managing and tuning databases and caches in production (MongoDB, Redis, or similar);

  • Familiarity with reverse proxies and TLS management (Caddy, HAProxy, Nginx, or similar);

  • Experience with observability tooling and practices—logging, metrics, tracing (OpenTelemetry stack);

  • English at a B2+ level.

Would be a plus

  • CKA/CKAD, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certifications;

  • FinOps experience, understanding cloud cost structures, and optimizing infrastructure spend;

  • Experience with bare-metal solutions;

  • Prior work in a team managing their own CDN or network infrastructure.

What you’ll get

  • 28 weekdays of paid annual leave;

  • A corporate laptop;

  • Compensation for coworking space fees;

  • Language courses;

  • Compensation for sports or other physical activities;

  • A learning budget to invest in courses, books, or conferences.
