Senior AI Engineer

We are seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance our product capabilities, automate processes, and provide our customers with smarter, faster, and more intuitive financial tools.

You will work closely with product managers and engineers to integrate cutting-edge AI technologies into Finom’s platform – from customer-facing agents and anomaly detection to event classification and document understanding.

What You Will Be Doing

• Model Development: Build and deploy AI models with RAG and tool calling for various product features (e.g., AI accounting, new customer onboarding, customer care, document recognition, categorization, fraud detection).

• Quality: You understand that great models are built on great measurement — you choose the right signals and turn them into meaningful improvements

• Integration with Product: Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers to bring AI features into production.

• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest AI research and propose innovative applications relevant to Finom’s mission.

Who You Are

• Seasoned Python professional with a passion for AI/ML. You have extensive experience with frameworks and libraries such as LangGraph, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face Transformers.

• Deployment expert who has a proven track record of successfully deploying ML models in production environments.

• Strong software engineer with a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and best practices.

• Cloud-savvy individual comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex, or Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Skilled problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to contribute fresh ideas, collaborate with diverse teams, and grow within the organization

• Effective communicator who is fluent in English (B2+ level).

Nice-to-Have

• Knowledge of LLMs and prompt engineering.

• Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, Flink, Spark).

• Previous work in fintech or financial services.

• Contribution to open-source AI/ML projects.
