Currently we are looking for a SecOps Infrastructure Engineer (CloudOps) to fit in our Security Operations division and improve our security posture affecting all provided services to RingCentral customers.
Maintain the resilience of a massive, AI-integrated multi-cloud ecosystem by proactively managing advanced security controls. You aren't just supporting tools; you are defending a high-load platform processing billions of minutes of traffic. Your focus is to eliminate infrastructure vulnerabilities and ensure secure, scalable operations through continuous monitoring and cross-team collaboration.
Cloud Defense & Runtime Security: Manage and optimize WAF, DDoS protection, and IDS/EDR/XDR/CDR systems across a global production environment and beyond.
Posture Management & Assurance: Identify and remediate cloud misconfigurations and policy violations. Lead security validation through DDoS drills, penetration testing support, and internal audits.
Infrastructure Collaboration: Partner with NetOps on network segmentation and firewall rules, and guide Engineering/SRE teams in adopting secure operational best practices.
Incident Response & SOC L2/L3 Support: Participate in investigations into security alerts, root cause analysis, and implement post-incident hardening.
On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation to provide rapid response capabilities and continuous platform protection for more than 200+ engineering and SRE teams.
Experience: 3+ years in Security/SecOps or a SOC environment with hands-on multi-cloud expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI).
Technical Depth: Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS protocols. Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows, Active Directory, and Kubernetes security.
Tooling Mastery: Proven experience managing Enterprise Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and EDR/XDR platforms.
Threat Knowledge: Understanding of attacker behavior, including the OWASP Top 10, lateral movement, and privilege escalation.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, global team.
Offensive Security: Background in red teaming basics or offensive security.
Automation: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible) and scripting (Python/Bash).
Certifications: OSCP, OSWE, CCNA/CCNP, specialized Cloud/Kubernetes security certifications.
