Risk Analyst (Columbia)

We are looking for a Risk Analyst.

 

We're launching a new business line in Colombia and looking for someone to join our Risk team at the earliest stage of the launch, helping build credit risk processes from the ground up.

You'll be joining at the earliest stage of a new country launch — working on risk processes with direct visibility into how your work drives portfolio performance. 

 

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Support the design of credit origination and limit management policy, pricing guardrails, early-warning triggers
• Contribute to risk metrics tracking: help monitor portfolio performance towards lifetime profit maximization within risk appetite constraints
• Maintain live dashboards
• Help explain drivers behind metric changes
• Collaborate cross-functionally: help embed risk controls into product specifications and customer journeys, working closely with product, collection, finance and 2nd line of defence teams

The ideal candidate:

• 3+ years in credit risk or other data-driven areas (finance/collections/production analytics/data science) within retail or consumer lending portfolios (banking or fintech)
• Experience in Credit cards would be a strong plus
• Proficient in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience working with data
• Comfortable creating dashboards, visualizing data, and presenting insights clearly
• Solid grasp of financial mathematics fundamentals, profitability components, and basic accounting principles
• Strong technical or quantitative background with a strategic mindset
• Education: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field from a top technical university
• B1 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team
