QA Lead

OWLCAT GAMES was founded in 2016. The studio employs experienced developers who worked on projects such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and is currently working on titles Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.

TASKS:

• QA team management

• QA staff development, conducting 1-on-1s

• Overseeing the overall quality of the project

• Monitoring and improving existing quality assurance processes

• Regular communication with other development departments and planning QA resources for incoming tasks

• Creating new processes to address emerging issues from a long-term perspective

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in QA

• 1+ year of experience in a QA Lead position

• High level of conflict resilience

• Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation is required

• Understanding of the software development process and the role of testing within it

• Strong communication and analytical skills, proactivity, a systematic approach to identifying bugs

• English proficiency at B1 level or higher 

• Russian language skills at B2 level are necessary due to the team’s Russian-language production pipeline and internal communication.
