QA Lead

An engineer who builds a quality system — not just hunts for bugs.

Gehtsoft USA is developing a new B2B/B2C reporting system in the FinTech domain. Here, QA is not the final checkpoint but an engineering risk management system integrated into the very architecture of the product.

Position Level: Senior/Lead
Salary range: 5000$ -6000$ per month gross 
Work format: full time, total remote (not from Russia/Belarus)

We expect you to:
🔸build a quality management process for the project in accordance with industry standards (e.g. ISO 29119, GOST R 56920) and practices;
🔸ensure that the QA process is not about ‘finding bugs’ but about confirming the suitability of the product for its intended purpose in real operating conditions;
🔸define the quality strategy from the inception stage: success criteria, operating conditions, acceptable risks, budgets and resources;
🔸oversee project boundary management and assist the Product Owner and Project Manager in determining the required level of quality, risk assessment and planning;
🔸implement testing methods:
- Test Automation and the correct test pyramid,
- BDD/TDD, Contract/Domain Driven Design,
- Use of AI to speed up testing,
- Preparation for the integration of Manual Testing from the beginning of 2026
🔸ensure measurable results:
<1 day from writing code to detecting errors,
<1 defect/person-week in UAT,
no more than 1 error in production per month;
🔸lead the development of test plans (releases/epics/features/stories), monitor their implementation, and conduct regular process audits;
🔸ensure transparency: always have accurate and objective information about product quality, processes, and associated risks.

We expect you to have the following knowledge and experience:
🔸in-depth knowledge of testing standards, processes and methods (Manual and Auto);
🔸experience in building QA strategies from inception to support;
🔸understanding of working in conditions of high uncertainty (Cynefin model);
🔸proficiency in Russian and English at a level not lower than B2.
