QA Engineer (Conversion team)

EWA Learn languages is an international company, with headquarters in Singapore. We have been developing our EdTech app (iOS&Android) since 2017, with over 70 million users registered on our platform . Our app has been translated into 40 languages.

We help people around the world learn languages effectively, easily, and in a fun way—through snippets of popular movies, TV shows, and memes.

Now we’re looking for a Middle+ QA Engineer to join our Conversion team.

Your responsibilities:

• Test our mobile application for language learning on iOS and Android devices;

• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira;

• Create and maintain test documentation for internal and external use (Qase.io, Confluence);

• Discuss, develop, and improve QA processes and tools;

• Actively contribute to product development lifecycle improvement;

• Collaborate with PMs, developers, designers, and analysts.

You have:

• 2+ years of experience in mobile application testing;

• The ability to use test design techniques across the entire repository;

• Solid experience with AppStore, Google Play, web-funnel subscriptions testing;

• An understanding of where and how quality is interwoven into SDLC stages;

• Responsibility, thoroughness, and commitment to results;

• Experience with gitflow;

• Familiarity with mobile emulators and simulators (Android Studio, Xcode);

• API testing skills;

• Experience with network traffic analysis tools (Charles, Proxyman);

• SQL skills (GROUP BY, JOIN);

• A shift-left approach: we deliver feature test models before development stages;

• The ability to use monitoring and logging systems (Grafana);

• Good English skills (written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Appium-based automation frameworks for mobile UI testing;

• Extensive experience in fast-growing, consumer-facing, data-driven startups;

• Experience with payment systems.
