QA Engineer
We are looking for a detail-oriented and methodical Manual & Automation QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through a mix of manual testing and automation. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify bugs, validate features, and continuously improve the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
Develop and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, UI/UX, exploratory, and automated testing.
Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Participate in sprint planning and daily standups to stay aligned with development progress.
Provide feedback and suggestions for product improvements based on testing outcomes.
Ensure that all testing activities comply with company and industry standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer with exposure to test automation.
Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Python, or similar).
Understanding of SQL and APIs; ability to test at the database and service layer.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an agile team.
