QA Engineer

About the role

You will be the guardian of quality across our Solitaire titles, working closely with engineering, product, and game design to make sure every release feels polished, fair, and bug-free for millions of players.

What you will do

• Design, write, and execute test plans for new features, levels, and live-ops content
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and compatibility testing across iOS and Android
• Validate level configurations, difficulty tuning, economy changes, and special-card mechanics
• Reproduce, document, and track bugs with clear repro steps and severity classification
• Partner with engineering on root-cause analysis and verification of fixes
• Own release candidate sign-off and post-release smoke testing on production builds
• Help define and grow our QA process, tooling, and automation coverage over time

What we are looking for

• 2+ years of QA experience on mobile games or consumer mobile apps
• Sharp eye for detail and a player-first mindset
• Comfortable with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Linear, or similar) and structured test documentation
• Solid understanding of mobile platforms, devices, and the iOS/Android release flow
• Strong written and verbal communication

Nice to have

• Experience testing free-to-play puzzle, casual, or live-ops driven games
• Familiarity with automation frameworks (Appium, XCUITest, Espresso) or scripting in Python/JS
• Experience validating economy, A/B tests, remote config, and analytics events
