Python Engineer

As a Python engineer at AppGrowth, you’ll work to build new product features keep our app well-designed, fast, and reliable. Depending on your interests and skills, you may do more feature work or more infrastructure work.

We’re are proponents of hexagonal architecture and monolith application sharing different responsibility (web app, CLI, airflow and background processing connected to the common domain).

What you’ll be doing:

1. Develop and maintain our batch and streaming pipelines

2. Develop company dashboards and user interfaces

3. Develop and maintain various services for internal company needs

4. Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices

5. Collaborate with other teams to extract meaningful and actionable insight from data, explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability

6. Contribute to existing internal wiki based on software updates

What we expect from you:

1. 5+ years of experience in Python or full-stack development

2. Strong experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL, Clickhouse

3. Ability to leverage best coding practices: clean and readable code, automated testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and delivery

4. Experience in http frameworks like Flask and FastAPI

5. Experience working with Kafka

6. Experience working with Docker and Docker Compose

7. Good communication skills in English
