Python Backend Engineer

As a Python Backend Developer at GlamAI, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our AI-based video and image generation platform. You will collaborate closely with the Computer Vision team to deliver high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for AI-driven video and image generation.

  • Work closely with Computer Vision team to integrate algorithms into production systems.

  • Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability to handle high volumes of requests.

  • Collaborate with the frontend and mobile app teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services.

  • Implement robust security measures to safeguard user data and system integrity.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot backend systems to ensure high availability and reliability.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development, particularly in building scalable and reliable systems.

  • Proven experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and microservices architecture.

  • Experience in working with AI/ML-driven applications.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python programming language.

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and caching solutions.

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience deploying AI/ML systems at scale.

  • Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.

• Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of video processing technologies (FFmpeg, OpenCV).

  • Familiarity with ComfyUI, PyTorch, or Triton inference server.

  • Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems.

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
