Publishing Producer
We work hands-on with developers to bring bizarre visions to life, amplifying their voices. Our philosophy? Genre is a prison and we are the warden.
Role overview
If your idea of a good time is marketing games that defy logic, we have saved you a seat.
At CR, we publish indie games with teeth, heart, and a healthy disrespect for boring. But even the strangest games need a smooth path to launch.
We’re looking for a Publishing Producer to be the operational backbone for assigned titles, keeping milestones sharp, dependencies visible, and teams aligned. You’ll work closely with indie developers and internal teams to make sure great games reach players in great shape, while protecting the creative weirdness that made them worth publishing in the first place.
What You Will Do:
Guide developers through the milestone delivery process. Run pre-delivery checks to catch issues early, review deliverables against agreed specifications, and plan review timelines that account for internal team bandwidth.
Track production schedules across assigned titles and actively protect delivery timelines. When change requests or scope shifts arise, work with the team to evaluate the impact on time, budget, and risk, and ensure schedules are updated accordingly.
Apply proactive problem solving, anticipating bottlenecks before they become critical blockers. When escalating risks, come to the table not just with the problem, but with proposed solutions and a clear explanation of the impact.Coordinate with Marketing, Social, BD, QA, localization, porting, and other internal teams to make sure they have the builds, assets, information, and timelines they need. If tasks are delayed, communicate early, explain the "why," and outline the next steps.
Manage release pipelines across PC and consoles, including QA, localization, porting, certification, and launch readiness, ensuring a smooth and predictable path to launch across PC and consoles.
What We Are Looking For:
3+ years of experience in Game Production, preferably within a publishing environment or working closely with external indie partners.
High level of independence when it comes to executing project plans and can be trusted to own the day-to-day operations of your assigned titles.
Deep understanding that no two indie studios are the same. You excel at reading the nuance of a situation and tailoring your approach to support developers according to their specific needs, communication styles, and studio cultures.
A strong expertise in building and maintaining project schedules, tracking dependencies, and keeping documentation organized and visible.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English. You know how to deliver constructive feedback, navigate creative tension smoothly, and keep everyone aligned on the critical path.
Familiarity with first-party platform portals, guidelines, and submission processes (Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch).
A genuine love for indie games and an understanding of the unique challenges indie developers face.
Nice to Haves:
A technical background or a solid understanding of game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot).
Previous experience successfully launching indie titles on PC and consoles.
Fluency in other languages is a plus.
What We Offer:
Fully remote (preferably based in or near a European timezone for smoother collaboration.
A supportive, non-toxic, and highly creative team environment.
The opportunity to work with some of the most exciting indie developers in the world.
28 paid vacation days per year plus bank holidays
14 days’ sick leave per year, fully paid
