Project Manager (Software Outsourcing)

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager who have worked in software outsourcing, consulting, or outstaffing environments. This role is not focused on managing a single large enterprise program. Instead, you'll be coordinating multiple smaller software development projects simultaneously, working closely with engineering teams and clients.

This is a role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to fast-moving environments, can quickly understand project context, and is comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy. Our teams are lean, communication is direct, and we value people who proactively drive execution rather than wait for detailed instructions.
You will work closely with engineers, company leadership, and clients to ensure projects remain organized, transparent, and on track.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of software development projects and drive delivery from planning through execution.

• Quickly onboard into existing projects, understand current status, priorities, risks, and next steps.

• Build and maintain project plans, timelines, task breakdowns, risk registers, status reports, and project documentation.

• Coordinate engineering teams and ensure project milestones are delivered on time.

• Identify blockers, dependencies, and risks early and proactively drive resolution.

• Align delivery plans with technical teams and validate timelines before commitments are made.

• Track project progress and maintain visibility across stakeholders.

• Prepare and facilitate internal project meetings and client-facing status updates.

• Maintain project documentation in Jira and Confluence.

• Support project scoping, estimation, Statements of Work (SOWs), and change management activities.

• Continuously improve project workflows, communication, and delivery processes.

What We're Looking For

• Experience independently managing software development projects in an outsourcing, outstaffing, software development agency, or IT services environment.

• Experience coordinating multiple small-to-medium projects simultaneously.

• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Proven ability to quickly understand project context and become operational within a short period of time.

• Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills.

• Experience preparing project documentation, timelines, status reports, and risk management artefacts.

• Confidence communicating with both technical teams and external stakeholders.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, and common project management tools.
