Firebird is an international online travel company that organizes trips to Europe for customers from around the world. We have a dedicated software development department that focuses on our internal products that allow everyone else to deliver some of the top-notch, worldwide services. Currently, there are a number of commercially available projects in production that are being actively worked on:

We are looking for a hands-on Project Coordinator / Project Manager who will ensure that the right tasks are prioritised, resources are used effectively, and projects are delivered on time. This is not a role for someone who only knows project management theory. We need a practical person who takes ownership, communicates directly, follows up consistently, and makes sure that agreed tasks are completed.

Salary: from 1500$ gross

What you will do:

  • Prioritise tasks based on business needs and project goals.

  • Ensure tasks and projects are completed on time.

  • Plan and coordinate the team’s workload.

  • Maintain effective resource allocation and ensure team capacity is used efficiently.

  • Assign clear owners, deadlines, and priorities.

  • Monitor execution and follow up until tasks are completed.

  • Identify blockers, dependencies, and risks early.

  • Coordinate their resolution with the relevant teams and stakeholders.

  • Run regular project meetings and keep communication clear and focused.

  • Maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, and dashboards.

  • Keep stakeholders informed about progress, risks, and changes.

  • Coordinate incident resolution when required.

  • Ensure agreed internal processes and standards are followed.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 2 years of experience in project coordination or project management.

  • Proven experience coordinating real projects and delivering measurable results.

  • Strong prioritisation, planning, and execution-control skills.

  • Experience managing team workload and resource allocation.

  • Ability to hold people accountable while maintaining productive working relationships.

  • Good understanding of Agile software development.

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.

  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proactive, structured, and comfortable working in a changing environment.

  • Strong written English.

  • Experience working with web development and product teams.

It would be a strong advantage if you have:

  • Experience coordinating mobile application development projects.

  • Experience working with AI, building AI-enabled processes, or working in an AI-first company.
