Senior Game Designer — Mobile F2P
We are looking for a Product Owner / Senior Game Designer who can take full ownership of the game design and product vision for the project.
This person will define what the product should become, independently own and prioritize the feature backlog, and implement their decisions hands-on — from economy balance and monetization design to editing configs and prefabs directly in Unity.
This is not a people management role. The candidate will not manage the development team, own project timelines, or be responsible for the overall quality of the product. The scope of responsibility is limited specifically to game design and product design.
Responsibilities
- Develop, evolve, and align the product vision with the CPO.
- Generate ideas and create concepts for new games.
- Independently drive the project within the approved product vision.
- Design and fully specify new features and game mechanics.
- Create and maintain GDDs and detailed feature specifications.
- Balance the game economy and progression systems.
- Design monetization systems, including IAP, Ads, and LiveOps.
- Implement game design decisions directly in Unity, including configs and prefabs.
- Work with product analytics and A/B testing.
- Make product and game design decisions based on data.
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience developing mobile F2P games.
- Experience owning and prioritizing a product or feature backlog.
- Strong experience balancing game economies and progression systems.
- Experience designing IAP and Ads monetization.
- Experience creating and maintaining high-quality GDDs.
- Experience working with product analytics and A/B testing.
Nice to Have
- Experience working across different game genres.
- Commercially successful projects in the portfolio where the candidate directly contributed to the product’s success.
- Experience working on complex casual or midcore games.
- Experience in a formal Product Owner role.
- Experience working on full-cycle game development projects.
- Hands-on experience with Unity.
