Whisk serves as the food intelligence and nutrition arm of Samsung Health. We build the AI, data, and behaviour change systems that connect food, health, and daily life across the Samsung ecosystem by turning signals from phones, wearables, and kitchen appliances into personalised guidance that helps people eat better, manage health conditions, and build lasting habits.
We're looking for a Product Manager, Nutrition to join us on a 6-month contract, covering maternity leave for a core member of our Nutrition pillar team, with the possibility of an extension depending on business needs and requirements. You'll own the food tracker strategy within Samsung Health, prioritizing initiatives in tight alignment with the overall product strategy, and drive nutrition-related integrations into holistic internal services.
This is an individual-contributor PM role enabling a team of engineers, designers, data analysts, and researchers to build compelling user value quickly. You'll report to Jason Meer, Head of Whisk, and work daily with engineering, design, analytics, and research partners distributed across time zones including Europe, Korea, and the U.S.
We're looking for someone who can step in with minimal ramp time, hold existing roadmap commitments, and keep cross-functional momentum going for the duration of the cover.
Own the food tracker strategy. Build and maintain the roadmap for food tracker initiatives within Samsung Health, in tight alignment with overall product strategy.
Become a domain expert. Develop deep fluency in your product areas quickly enough to make sound calls without extended ramp-up.
Drive user insight into action. Work with UX research, analytics, and customer insights teams to understand user needs, pain points, and behavioral patterns, and identify the highest-value problems to solve.
Ideate on growth and monetization. Continuously drive WAU and monetization ideas, using iterative development to test solutions that, when successful, deploy across tens of millions of users worldwide.
Lead cross-functional delivery. Guide a globally distributed, cross-functional team through the full product development lifecycle — continuous discovery, product definition, user testing, launch, and iteration.
Own nutrition integrations. Manage nutrition-related integrations into holistic internal services, creating coherence across Samsung Health’s Nutrition pillar.
Maintain continuity. Keep existing initiatives, stakeholder relationships, and in-flight decisions on track so the transition back to the permanent PM is seamless.
Solid product management experience, ideally in consumer apps, with a track record of shipping features that moved engagement or retention metrics at scale.
A genuine interest in nutrition, health, wellness, or behaviour change products.
Comfort working in cross-org, cross-time-zone environments (Europe, Korea, U.S.), with the ability to build trust and alignment async-first.
Exceptional written communication — you create clarity from complexity, and your documents reflect the quality of your thinking.
Strong product judgment — you can spot what's wrong with a product before the data confirms it, and you know when to push back on a feature that technically works but doesn't feel right.
Availability and readiness to ramp quickly, given the fixed 6-month contract window and the need for continuity of an existing roadmap.
Intellectual curiosity about how AI is changing product craft, with the judgment to know when to override the machine.
