Senior Product Manager (Talent Pool — Hiring for Future Teams)

Remote

About the Company and the Role

Welltory is one of the world’s leading apps for health monitoring, with 17 million downloads across 130 countries. We've grown into a powerful platform with a robust architecture and proprietary algorithms based on user data — and we’re just getting started. Product is at the heart of everything we do.

💡 We’re building a Senior Product Manager Talent Pool for future product teams at Welltory. As we shape our product strategy and plan ahead, we’re already getting to know strong PMs — so when new teams spin up, we’ll be ready to move fast with people we’re genuinely excited about.

At Welltory, PMs usually split their time roughly 50/50 between discovery and delivery:

  • Discovery (~50%) — talking to users, running interviews, partnering with experts, exploring competitors, digging into research, and shaping + validating hypotheses (often with help from AI tools).

  • Delivery (~50%) — prioritizing what matters, writing clear tasks, shipping iteratively, running experiments (A/B tests), and working closely with the team to learn and improve.

We’re not into “features for features’ sake.” We care about building real value — grounded in users, data, and a strong understanding of the domain.

Who we’d love to see

We’re looking for product people who enjoy going deep, learning fast, and shipping thoughtfully.

  • 3+ years in product — you’ve shipped features, taken ideas from hypothesis to measurable outcome, and collaborated closely with engineering, data, and design.

  • Strong product analytics — you’re comfortable working with data and using it to make decisions:

    • You understand funnels and can build a clear metrics tree.

    • You know what drives retention, engagement, and monetization.

    • You regularly use Amplitude (or similar tools) and track key metrics like retention, DAU/MAU, and time-to-value (TTV).

    • You can spot monetization bottlenecks (e.g., D0/D1/W1 retention, paywall conversion) and propose focused hypotheses to improve them.

    • You write experiments down clearly (hypothesis → approach → result → decision) and can show impact.

  • Research mindset — you’re happy to learn from multiple sources:

    • Reading scientific or expert materials (health / behavioral science).

    • Talking to domain experts (doctors, psychologists, researchers).

    • Testing competitors and running in-depth interviews.

    • Using AI to validate and sharpen hypotheses.

  • Comfort with ambiguity — you can bring structure to messy problems, make decisions, and find the right balance between speed and quality.

  • You can tell the difference between exploring something new and optimizing what already exists — and you know that real advantage comes from unique value, not just “more features.”

  • You have good product judgment: when to ship fast, and when it’s worth investing in a more scalable solution from the start.

  • You think in cause and effect, and you’re able to understand (or quickly learn) how product decisions connect to data, systems, and user outcomes.

  • You communicate proactively across teams — especially when changes may impact others.

  • English (upper-intermediate/B2+) — for working with users, colleagues, research, interfaces, and best practices.

  • AI tools (incl. ChatGPT) — you use them thoughtfully to validate hypotheses, extract insights from materials, and speed up routine work.

What You’ll Do

Solution discovery & development (~50%)

  • Look for step-change opportunities — not just small improvements, but ideas that meaningfully move the product forward.

  • Run deep discovery: scientific sources (health/behavioral), expert input, competitor research, and in-depth user interviews.

  • Use AI to validate hypotheses and uncover insights faster.

  • Map cause-and-effect in the domain and user behavior.

  • Define what “success” looks like: constraints, clear success criteria, required conditions, and potential side effects — and focus on the few actions that drive the most value.

  • Risk management & prioritization

    • Test the riskiest assumptions early and efficiently.

    • Prioritize based on context: where a fast, high-impact release makes sense vs. where we should invest in a more foundational solution.

    • Balance speed and quality: sanity-check viability before development and avoid overbuilding when it’s not needed.

    • Keep a strong pace of both shipping and learning — that’s how we measure progress.

Delivery & team leadership (~50%)

  • Make goals and success criteria crystal-clear for the team.

  • Keep everyone aligned during development: what we’re validating, which metrics we watch, and what guardrails matter.

  • Reduce uncertainty before engineering starts as much as possible.

  • Work closely with Tech on smart trade-offs (time/scope/quality) and help drive down tech debt in your area when it blocks progress.

  • After launch: iterate quickly, stay close to the data, and keep the context in your hands.

  • Monitor feature health (retention, DAU/MAU, TTV) and understand impact on other areas.

  • Own the feature lifecycle: improve, adjust, retire, or hand off to support when appropriate.

  • Sync & knowledge sharing

    • Keep work transparent across the company: context, value, plans, and status.

    • Sync with other PMs and reuse what works.

    • Coordinate with marketing and partner teams early when releases affect them.

    • Take part in the product guild: share insights, learnings, and conclusions.

    • Contribute to product strategy: architecture, scalability, and cost efficiency.

    • Stay close to the market and trends — and look for growth opportunities in MAU, revenue, and user value.

What We Offer

  • Flexible hours & a high-trust culture — we care about results, not clock time

  • Competitive salary, performance-based bonuses, and stock options

  • 50% hardware subsidy after 6 months

  • Access to a therapist & employee support program

  • Health insurance

  • Support for personal learning and development

  • Unlimited vacation policy

  • Culture of openness, honesty, and high standards

How to join our Talent Pool — hiring for future teams

The process can start in different ways depending on your CV and how much context we already have for a first conversation.

Possible first steps:

  1. A test task (cases) — we may suggest this as a first step if we still have questions after reviewing your CV.
    or

  2. A culture-fit interview with HR — a friendly intro: meet Welltory, talk through your experience, and align on expectations.

Outcome & feedback: after these steps, we either add you to our Talent Pool (hiring for future teams) and share an approximate hiring timeline — or we’ll give clear feedback on what was missing and what to focus on next.
