About Nexford
We're building an AI-native university. Not a traditional LMS with an AI layer on top — something genuinely different, where AI is core to how learners experience education, stay engaged, and grow.
About the role
This role owns parts of that learner journey end to end. You'll work on products people use every day, across months and years — and you'll be judged on whether they come back, not whether you shipped the feature.
We're a lean team. There's no room for someone who needs a lot of process around them to do good work.
What we're looking for
You've built something recently. Not managed a roadmap — actually built something. A product, a feature, a side project. Something you can demo, something real users touched, something you iterated on based on what you saw.
You use AI tools every day and you've shipped something with them in the last few months. You know the difference between a good use case and a gimmick. You can have a technical conversation with an engineer without needing a translator. You think in retention, not launches. You understand why users come back — or don't — and you've moved that needle before. You work fast and clean. You don't wait to be told what to do. You raise problems early, move through ambiguity, and leave things better than you found them.
The role
Own product areas across the learner lifecycle — define what to build, why it matters, how success is measured
Talk to learners constantly and translate what you hear into product decisions
Identify and ship AI-powered features that add real value, not surface-level integrations
Instrument your products, run experiments, and use data alongside qualitative insight
Work closely with engineering and design — create clarity, not overhead
What good looks like here
5+ years in B2C product, with a track record in engagement or retention
Something shipped with AI in the last 3–6 months — work or personal project
Comfortable going deep with engineers on systems, APIs, and trade-offs
A natural bias toward simplicity and speed over process and complexity
EdTech experience is not required — product instinct and builder mentality are
Working hours
Fully remote, Europe-based. Core overlap with the US team (approx. 6am–2pm ET). We trust you to manage your time.
What you get
Competitive salary benchmarked to your market
Generous paid holiday allowance
Discounted access to Nexford programs — learn while you build
A culture where you're expected to have opinions and share them
A small team moving fast, with real ownership from day one
Think this is you? Send us your profile, something you've built — a project, a demo, a side experiment. We care more about what you've shipped than how your CV reads.
