As Product Manager for our Commerce Platform, Middleware & Integration ecosystem, you shape the foundation that enables scalable omnichannel commerce across all Fielmann markets and channels.
You drive the evolution of our commerce platform landscape, enabling faster product innovation, seamless integrations, and consistent customer experiences across digital and physical touchpoints.
Working closely with Engineering, Architecture, and Product teams, you help transform our platform ecosystem into a modular, composable, and future-ready commerce foundation supporting Fielmann’s international growth strategy.
Responsibilities
What you will work on
You take end-to-end ownership of our Commerce Platform as well as core integration and platform services
You define a clear product vision and shape the roadmap for a scalable, modular, and service-oriented platform architecture
You build the platform foundation that enables growth, speed, scalability, and reusable commerce capabilities across teams and markets
You prioritize platform investments balancing business outcomes, scalability, technical sustainability, and speed of innovation
You work closely with Engineering, Architecture, and Product teams to develop scalable platform capabilities and robust core services such as:
Payment services
Product data & catalog services
Pricing & promotion services
Order capturing & order management integrations
You ensure reliable, scalable, and transparent commerce flows across customer-facing and operational systems
You align closely with other product managers and technical stakeholders to ensure clear ownership, strong platform enablement, and consistent solutions across the ecosystem
You create transparency on priorities, dependencies, risks, and platform evolution in a complex international system environment
Requirements
You inspire us - your profile
Several years of experience as a Product Manager in platform, backend, commerce, or integration environments
Experience owning platform products with clear business impact
Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, integrations, and service-oriented architectures
Experience working in complex technology landscapes and cross-functional environments
Ability to translate complex technical and business requirements into scalable and structured solutions
Strong systems thinking and the ability to balance technical sustainability with business priorities
Experience collaborating closely with Engineering and Architecture teams
Strong analytical mindset and confidence in working with KPIs and data-driven decisions
Strong communication skills, ownership mentality, and a structured way of working
Ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders in complex environments
Pragmatic, hands-on mindset and confidence using AI tools to support product work
Fluency in English
What you ideally also bring with you
Experience with composable commerce or modern platform architectures
Experience with commerce platforms, middleware, or integration solutions
Understanding of OMS, POS, or e-commerce systems
Experience working in scalable international commerce environments
Experience scaling shared platform capabilities across complex product ecosystems
